Justin Bieber Reposts Controversial DMX Clip About Living with God
Justin Bieber is back in the news and hot water after reposting a now-viral video to his Instagram story over the weekend. The video is a throwback clip of the late rapper DMX in an episode of Iyanla: Fix My Life, and many think that the video he reposted to Instagram could be Biebers new stance on drug use.
On Sunday, the 31-year-old singer reposted the social media post from a Los Angeles-based weed store, Gassy. In the candid footage, motivational speaker Iyanla Vanzant questions DMX during an episode of her popular show if he 18really wants to live19 without drugs and alcohol.
DMX quickly snaps back and replies, 18No weed, no drinking, nothing? Why would I?19 Iyanla responds by saying that with sobriety, someone can become 18a clear, pure vessel for the voice of God.19 DMX, with complete confidence, comes back with, 18I think I19m exactly where I need to be with God.19

Justin Bieber reposted this video and attached no text to it, so speculation quickly filled up the internet on whether or not this was a message from him about weed and alcohol, or merely just a repost he liked from the Los Angeles-based weed store.
Fans and the media have also reposted his Instagram video on other social media. Speculation about the Instagram video now questions whether Bieber is giving his side on whether or not he thinks marijuana is good or bad. For others, it is a statement on free will, religious beliefs, and sobriety. If anything, it is not far off from what Bieber has spoken about in years past.
Justin Bieber Has Spoken In Years Past About Drugs
Justin Bieber has spoken on drugs before, specifically weed, his relationship with God, and personal development over the past few years. In previous years, Bieber has become vocal about his love for God and even took time to meet with Churchome pastor Judah Smith after sharing that he was 18done with the Christian thing.19
Justin Bieber, of course, made a name for himself talking about his relationship with God, sobriety, and weed when he was 19 and rose to pop superstardom. Since then, many fans have gotten concerned as he has been posting images of himself holding bongs, smoking, and smoke trailing out of his mouth.
Weed, for reference, is also completely legal in California, the state Bieber currently lives in, and resides with his wife, Hailey Bieber, and their three-month-old son Jack Bieber.
The singer also got some backlash earlier this year as rumors spread about the pop star abusing hard drugs. In February, Biebers representative put the claims to rest with a statement to TMZ and said that the story is 18absolutely not true.19
Justin Biebers representative said that the narrative surrounding the rapper abusing hard drugs is not 18fair or factual,19 and that he is 18happy, healthy, and in one of the best places in his life.19
The rep also stated that the singer has recently parted ways with longtime friends and professional business partners and called Biebers book a 18necessary purge19 after feeling like his 18private life was being manipulated and misrepresented.19
Justin Bieber Releases New Album Swag With Hailey-Baby Jack Photos On Album Cover
Justin Bieber also put out new music for the first time in two years on July 11 and surprised fans with his new seventh album, Swag. The album also features photos of Bieber with his wife, Hailey, and son, Jack, on the front and back cover. On the 13-track album, Bieber also dives deep into personal growth and love for his wife Hailey and experience with new fatherhood.
The new music comes after many years in the spotlight and multiple years battling legal issues and allegations in the public eye. The 13-track album also features comedy interludes from social media star Druski.
The comedian is known for his comedy 18therapy sessions19 and takes Bieber on a wild ride as the two joke about personal life topics the singer has never publicly spoken about before.
It is hard to say whether Bieber has an official tour in the works as of now. Reports have been swirling that Bieber may have an Australian tour in 2024, but when Rolling Stone reached out to Frontier Touring for comment, they replied, 18We have no information about this at this time.19
Bieber did embark on his Justice world tour in 2022 but had to cancel midway through after reportedly struggling with his physical and mental health.
Justin Bieber Cancels Rest Of Justice World Tour
Bieber was supposed to tour all over the world for the tour, which wouldve included arenas throughout Australia. The singer was later hospitalized in February for what was reported as 18chronic traumatic encephalopathy19 and was forced to be hospitalized.
Justin Bieber Canceled Justice World Tour: Full List of Remaining Canceled Dates
Justin Bieber has gone completely silent on this topic as of now and has not addressed any official comments about an Australian tour or another world tour shortly.
There will be plenty more coming this year with the new music. Swags surprise drop has fans on edge and excited for what the next year may bring for this new era of Bieber.
Justin Bieber Will Attend Coachella In 2024, Fans React To The Possible Surprise Visit
Justin Biebers Instagram repost has brought up more questions than answers as of now. Either way, it is safe to say that if Justin Bieber was making a statement with this video, he kept it close to the chest this time.
Like we mentioned, speculation on the social media post and its meaning is flying left and right, with some people feeling offended by the post and others defending the post. Fans have called the singer a 18hypocrite19 on the social media post.
It is safe to say that the singer has turned another page in his life. Bieber is focused, has cut ties, and released an album, and now is back to being at home with his family and possibly planning another tour.
Whether Justin Bieber wants fans and the public to take the repost as a statement or not, it was a direct and intentional move. And now that it is all said and done with, whether there is an Australian tour in 2024 or not remains to be seen.
